The fourth quarter of 2023 showcased notable trends in the performance of the top 5 Maps and Navigation apps in the Dominican Republic. Here's an overview of their metrics based on data from Sensor Tower.

inDrive. Save on city rides saw a fluctuating yet generally upward trend in weekly downloads, peaking at around 19.2K in late October. The app's weekly active users, however, experienced a gradual decline from approximately 344.5K at the start of the quarter to about 309.6K by the end of December.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 11.3K and reaching a high of 16.3K in mid-December. Weekly active users also saw a rise, peaking at around 443.4K in mid-December before dropping to 370.9K by the end of the year.

Phone Tracker and GPS Location experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads, from 10.4K at the start of the quarter to 10.6K by the end of December. This growth was mirrored by a rise in weekly active users, which grew from 13.9K to 18.5K over the same period.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides had relatively stable weekly downloads, ranging between 7.8K and 9.2K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users remained consistent, fluctuating around 180K for most of the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed steady performance in weekly downloads, increasing from 7.4K to 9K by mid-December. Weekly active users also rose from 263.3K to 285.2K during the same period.
